Aaron Garth is the Executive Director of Ultimate Youth Worker. Aaron has worked as a youth worker in a number of settings including local church, street drug and alcohol outreach, family services, residential care, local government and youth homelessness since 2003. Aaron is a regular speaker at camps, retreats, & youth work training events and is a dedicated to seeing a more professional youth sector in Australia. Aaron is a graduate of RMIT University and an alumnus of their youth work program. He lives in Melbourne with his wife Jennifer & their daughters Hope, Zoe, Esther, Niamh and son Ezra.

What can we help you find?
Due to the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, Woollahra Council is now hosting a series of online events.
Our events calendar will only include digital events at this stage. Businesses and community groups within the municipality can submit suitable online community events through the Promote your event page for inclusion on the events calendar.

Join us for a Silent Zoom in our Virtual Work Hub.
Our online workspace offers a quiet digital environment for focus and productivity with others. You could be tackling everyday work, a writing project or studying but at home distractions abound and it can feel lonely. Register to attend our Virtual Work Hub for a focused workspace.
In order to decrease the social isolation we may currently be feeling, and to increase accountability, your video will be displayed during this session.
Please note this session may be recorded.
**How will it work?**
– Register your participation in the Virtual Work Hub
– Come prepared with a project or piece of work to work on independently
– After a brief welcome, a timer will be set for 25 minutes of distraction free focused work time. After a short break, we will work through another 25 minute block of focused work time.
– There will be a short time to chat with participants after both work blocks are completed.
**How to Prepare:**
– Remove distractions. Put your phone out of sight, close your door and turn off notifications.
– Grab a glass of water and use the restroom beforehand
– Come to the session with a clear goal of what you would like to achieve
